Two events in April:
Open Antwerp:
Irina played well all day only to lose in the semi final from Karin Krappen who threw quite superb. The match going to the deciding leg.
Open Germany:
Irinas good form continued and was excellent for most of the day. The last 8 put Irina up against Dee Bateman and it was a very high class match, but probably the best game of the day was the semi final against Francis Hoenselaar. Both ladies throwing inspired darts. Francis took the first set 2 - 1, and then Irina came back to win the next 4 legs without reply to win the match 2 sets to 1. Irina failed to find the same form in the final but still played well but lost out to Tricia Wright who threw very well especially her finishing.
Mariflex Open 2010Irina wasn`t at her best in Open Mariflex but managed to reach the final of the singles where she lost from Englands Deta Hedman. Scottish Open 2010Open Scotland this year wasn`t too bad. Last 8 in the singles and second in the ladies pairs with partner Louise Hepburn from Scotland. |
